Job summary

Flowserve is seeking an experienced Cost Accountant to report to the Finance Manager and support the local accounting/finance structure. You will work with operations and assist other facilities as needed, performing month-end close, margin analysis, and standard costing oversight.

The role requires 5–7 years of relevant experience, Excel proficiency, and intermediate English. Based in the Mendoza region with a remote-friendly stance and opportunities for growth within Flowserve’s global network.

Qualifications

• Strong cost accounting knowledge and experience.
• General knowledge of accounting policies.
• Proficiency in Excel and MS Office.
• Clear and concise communications; English proficiency.
• Systems knowledge: Oracle, BPC, SAP beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Month end reporting.
• Close for Inventory/Purchasing and AR; reconciliations.
• Project accounting – review margins monthly.
• Sales and margin analysis.
• Process month end journals, accruals/prepayments/recharges.
• Fixed Asset accounting and reconciliations.
• Balance sheet reconciliations and standard costing ownership.
• Data analysis for cost and manufacturing.
