Job summary

Flowserve, a global manufacturer of pumps, valves, seals, and services, seeks an experienced Cost Accountant for the Mendoza finance team. You will support month-end close, analyze margins, and collaborate with operations on standard costing and inventory accuracy.

Requirements include 5-7 years in cost accounting, a BS/BA in accounting or finance, strong Excel skills, and English proficiency. The role reports to the Finance Manager and may involve inter-facility collaboration.

Qualifications

• Strong cost accounting knowledge and experience.
• Proficiency in Excel and MS Office products.
• Intermediate level English communication, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Month end reporting.
• Close for Inventory/Purchasing and AR; reconcile monthly.
• Project accounting—review margins and processing.
• Sales and margin analysis.
• Process month end journals, accruals, prepayments and recharges.
• Fixed Asset accounting; reconcile month end bookings.
• Balance sheet reconciliations; standard costing system ownership.
• Data analysis for cost and manufacturing within the business.
