Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Accounting, plus three years of experience in accounting or equivalent education/experience.
• Modern principles, practices, and methods of accounting, financial administration, reporting, computers and accounting software programs.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid gaming license from the Pueblo of Tesuque Gaming Commission.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze departmental financial statements and payroll reports.
• Coordinate, prepare and maintain general and subsidiary ledger schedules.
• Prepare month end and year end closing of accounts.
• Prepare journal entries for adjusting and correcting accounting records.
• Audit tax withholding, travel authorizations and payments.
• Reconcile inventory assets.
• Analyze balance sheet and perform reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
• Prepare budgets, pro-formas, and cash flow projections.
