Amazon Web Services Argentina is seeking a Sr. Solutions Architect to guide customers in adopting AWS and migrating workloads to the cloud.

You will work with senior stakeholders to align technology with business outcomes, and design complex, scalable solutions across security, performance, and cost considerations. Formación

• 8+ years in specific technology domains (e.g., software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics).
• 3+ years design/implementation or consulting in applications/infrastructures.
• 10+ years IT development or consulting experience in software or Internet industries.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
• Fluent in English and Spanish (speaking, writing, reading).

Responsabilidades

• Serve as trusted technical advisor to customers and influence cloud adoption strategy.
• Lead end-to-end solution design for complex workloads across performance, reliability, security, and cost.
• Collaborate with sales, professional services, support, and engineering to deliver solutions.
• Develop and deliver technical content and represent AWS at events and engagements.
• Mentor other Solutions Architects and translate feedback into product improvements.

Our Solutions Architects team is seeking candidates to join our AWS team with a variety of skills to help shape and deliver on our cloud strategy for our global customers and partners. As a Solutions Architect, you will be on the front line of helping customers succeed using AWS technologies, linking technology with measurable business value for organizations ranging from start-ups to large, enterprise customers. You will be a trusted customer advocate, helping our partners understand advanced cloud-based solutions and how to migrate existing workloads to the cloud.

Key job responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted technical advisor to customers, building relationships with senior stakeholders to influence their cloud adoption strategy and technology direction
• Lead end-to-end solution design for complex workloads, making architectural trade-offs across performance, reliability, security, and cost
• Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, professional services, support, and engineering teams to deliver comprehensive technical solutions aligned to customer business outcomes
• Develop and deliver technical content (reference architectures, design patterns, presentations) and represent AWS as a thought leader at industry events and customer engagements
• Mentor and develop other Solutions Architects while translating customer feedback into actionable product and service improvement recommendations

Basic Qualifications

• 8+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience
• 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience
• 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience
• Speak, write, and read fluently in English and Spanish

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture and networking experience
• Knowledge of software development tools and methodologies
• Experience working with end user or developer communities
