Job summary

Promtior is seeking a Sr. Java Developer to join our Engineering team as we scale our backend services. You will build and maintain Java APIs with Spring and Spring Boot, focusing on performance, reliability, and maintainability.

You will work with relational databases, ORMs, and microservices, collaborating with product and tech colleagues. This role offers ongoing learning, a team-oriented culture, and opportunities to contribute to cutting-edge AI-driven solutions.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services in Java for production apps using Spring and Spring Boot.
• Design and implement features with a focus on performance, quality, and maintainability.

Key Responsibilities

You will develop and maintain backend services in Java for production applications, building APIs and backend components using Spring and Spring Boot. You will take part in the design and implementation of features with a focus on quality, performance, and maintainability, working with relational databases and ORMs (JPA/Hibernate). You will collaborate with other developers and with product and technology profiles, participate in code reviews, testing, and continuous improvements, and support the full development cycle, from design through to production deployment.

Required Experience

• Prior experience developing APIs or backend services.
• Advanced knowledge of performance, JVM, and memory usage.
