Sr. Account Manager Chemical Industry (Sales)
Pacifica Continental is seeking a Sr. Account Manager in the Chemical Industry (Sales) for a global provider specializing in technologies aimed at reducing carbon emissions, supplying technology, catalysts, and services for the global energy transition.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and develop existing accounts and new leads in the region, focusing on catalysis, decarbonization technologies, and new businesses.
- Build and execute account plans aligned with customer goals, positioning Topsoe as a strategic partner.
- Generate and qualify sales opportunities; negotiate contracts and agreements.
- Collaborate with technical and commercial teams to provide solutions and support to customers.
- Monitor and report on market trends, customer feedback, and competitor activities.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, preferably Chemical Engineering (mandatory).
- At least 10 years of experience in the Chemical Industry, preferably in Sulfur and/or SynGas (Ammonia, Methanol, Hydrogen), with a solid understanding of catalytic processes.
- Proven track record in complex sales, negotiations, and account management, with the ability to create value and grow businesses profitably.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to develop long-term relationships with customers and stakeholders at multiple levels.
- Proactive attitude, willingness to learn continuously, and adaptability to a dynamic market.
- High commitment to the company's values, policies, objectives, and goals.
- Reside near the office and be available to travel within Latin America.
- Fluent in English, both verbal and written.

- Office in Martinez, Buenos Aires, Argentina (reporting to Sales Manager in Latin America).
