Mercor is seeking experienced Spanish Linguistic Experts to join a cutting-edge AI research project in partnership with a leading research lab. The role centers on evaluating LLM Spanish performance and curating high-quality Spanish linguistic data for training the model.

You will edit, annotate, and refine Spanish content, provide linguistic feedback to guide model training, and collaborate with AI researchers in a distributed, remote team.

Formación

• Native or near-native fluency in Spanish with strong grammar and stylistics.
• Experience in translation, editing, linguistic annotation, or NLP data work in Spanish.
• Strong understanding of linguistic nuances and regional variations.
• Interest in AI and LLM-driven language technologies.

Responsabilidades

• Evaluate quality and accuracy of LLM-generated Spanish text across use cases.
• Edit, refine, or rewrite Spanish content to meet linguistic and cultural standards.
• Annotate Spanish text for grammatical, syntactic, and semantic features.
• Identify model errors and language gaps, and collaborate with AI researchers to improve LLM performance.
• Provide detailed linguistic feedback to guide model training efforts.
