MarketplaceTech Client #2, with SD Solutions acting on its behalf, seeks a Software Support Engineer to help maintain an internal platform used by the team and clients. The role focuses on debugging, bug triage, and supporting AI-assisted engineering workflows.

You will work closely with the founder, review features, and ensure production readiness, while avoiding new feature development from scratch. Strong English communication is essential.

• Strong full-stack engineering background (frontend and backend).
• Hands-on experience with AI/ML systems and agent-based tooling.
• Comfortable maintaining and debugging production backend systems.
• Experience with feature branching/flags and safe release practices.
• Excellent English communication — clear, responsive, and able to work closely with a hands-on technical founder.

MarketplaceTech Client #2 is looking for a technically strong and creative Software Support Engineer to work directly with the founder and support ongoing development and maintenance of an internal platform used by both the team and clients. This is a full-time role focused on helping manage bugs, feature requests, and AI-assisted engineering workflows.

Responsibilities:

• Triage, debug, and resolve issues from a provided task/bug list
• Review features prototyped in staging, solidify them, and confirm readiness for production
• Promote ready features to production; isolate incomplete work via feature branches/flags
• Maintain reliability of existing functionality and prevent regressions
• Perform backend maintenance of AI applications, including agent orchestration tools
• Work directly with the founder on a daily basis
• Stay visible, proactive, and consistently productive throughout the workday
• No net-new feature development from scratch (out of scope)

Requirements:

• Strong full-stack engineering background (frontend and backend)
• Hands-on experience with AI/ML systems and agent-based tooling (e.g. Claude, Codex, Grok, or comparable LLM orchestration)
• Comfortable maintaining and debugging production backend systems
• Experience with feature branching/flags and safe release practices
• Excellent English communication — clear, responsive, and able to work closely with a hands-on technical founder
• High reliability, visibility, and consistent daily output
• Time zone overlap with Austin, Texas is preferred
