Were hiring a Senior Software Engineer to join BTS and contribute to groundbreaking work in brain-computer interfaces (BCI). This technology is designed to help people with paralysis control digital devices using only their thoughts, restoring independence and transforming lives.

What Youll Do

• Design and build scalable, cross-platform applications for real-time neural data
• Collaborate in an agile team with product, firmware, ML, and hardware experts
• Lead code reviews, improve engineering standards, and maintain testing frameworks
• Contribute to regulatory documentation and ensure software quality at every step
• Innovate at the intersection of neuroscience, computing, and machine learning

What Were Looking For

• 6+ years in software engineering with complex systems
• Strong C++ and Python skills (efficient, maintainable code)
• Experience with near real-time systems and performance optimization
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills

Bonus Points For: Qt/QML, digital signal processing, medical software standards (IEC 62304, FDA), Rust, mobile development, APIs, databases, CI/CD, embedded systems, or an interest in neuroscience and ML.
