Job summary

Clients Blackbox, Inc. is seeking a Senior Video Editor to edit and optimize video content for advertising and brand storytelling.

The role collaborates with designers, copywriters, and strategists to tailor content for YouTube, social media, and paid campaigns, with a focus on performance marketing for higher education. You will shape video content strategies for Latin America expansion, ensure seamless execution across projects, and deliver high-quality assets on a tight timeline.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional video editing in an agency, media production, or marketing setting.
• Advanced skills in Adobe Premiere Pro with working knowledge of After Effects, Final Cut Pro or DaVinci Resolve.
• Experience editing content for ads, marketing, or corporate communications.
• Strong storytelling with pacing, audience engagement and visual impact.
• Familiarity with motion graphics (text animations, lower thirds, transitions).
• Technical knowledge of color grading, sound design, and video formatting for social media, web, and broadcast.
• Highly organized and able to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Fluent English communication skills; ability to work with U.S.-based teams.
• Experience optimizing video content for multiple platforms (YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, TV).

Responsibilities

• Edit and assemble video content for ads, social media, YouTube and digital campaigns.
• Enhance video quality through color correction, sound design, and smooth transitions.
• Integrate motion graphics and simple animations to boost engagement.
• Optimize videos for different platforms with correct aspect ratios, pacing, subtitles, and thumbnails.
• Collaborate with designers, copywriters, and strategists to align visuals with goals.
• Manage video files and organize assets with structured workflows.
• Review edits and refine content based on feedback before delivery.
• Stay updated on new editing techniques and platform trends to improve effectiveness.
• Ensure timely delivery of final assets accounting for review steps.
