Job summary

Ovation Law Firm is seeking a Senior Video Editor for fully remote work across Latin America, supporting North American university campaigns. You will edit and optimize video content for ads, brand storytelling, and digital campaigns, collaborating with designers and strategists to ensure high-quality content for YouTube and social media.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of professional editing experience, advanced skills in Adobe Premiere Pro (and knowledge of After Effects or DaVinci Resolve),

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional video editing experience.
• Advanced skills in Adobe Premiere Pro, plus working knowledge of After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
• Experience editing content for ads, marketing, or corporate communications.
• Strong storytelling ability with pacing and visual impact.
• Familiarity with motion graphics (text animations, lower thirds, transitions).
• Technical knowledge of color grading, sound design, and video formatting for social media, web, and broadcast.
• Highly organized and able to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Fluent English communication skills, with ability to work with U.S.-based teams.
• Experience optimizing video content for multiple platforms (YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, TV).

Responsibilities

• Edit and assemble video content for ads, social media, YouTube, and digital campaigns.
• Enhance video quality through color correction, sound design, and transitions.
• Integrate motion graphics and simple animations to improve engagement.
• Optimize videos for different platforms with correct aspect ratios, pacing, subtitles, and thumbnails.
• Collaborate with design and strategy teams to align visuals with marketing goals.
• Manage video files and assets with structured workflows and version control.
• Review edits and refine content based on feedback before delivery.
• Stay updated on new editing techniques and platform trends.
• Ensure timely delivery of final assets.
