Job summary

Ovation Law Firm seeks a Senior Video Editor to edit and optimize video content for ads, branding, and campaigns. Work with U.S.-based teams on YouTube, social media, and digital campaigns.

Lead with strong storytelling, color grading, and motion graphics to drive engagement across platforms. The role is fully remote from Latin America, focused on North American universities projects and mission-driven content.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional video editing experience, preferably in an agency, media production, or marketing team setting.
• Advanced skills in Adobe Premiere Pro, plus working knowledge of After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
• Experience editing content for ads, marketing, or corporate communications.
• Strong storytelling ability with pacing and audience engagement.
• Familiarity with motion graphics (text animations, lower thirds, transitions).
• Technical knowledge of color grading, sound design, and video formatting for social media, web, and broadcast.
• Highly organized and able to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Fluent English communication, with ability to work with U.S.-based teams.
• Experience optimizing video content for multiple platforms (YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, TV).

Responsibilities

• Edit and assemble video content for ads, social media, YouTube, and digital campaigns with strong storytelling and brand consistency.
• Enhance video quality through color correction, sound design, and smooth transitions.
• Integrate motion graphics and simple animations to boost engagement.
• Optimize videos for different platforms with correct aspect ratios, pacing, subtitles, and thumbnails.
• Collaborate with designers, copywriters, and strategists to align visuals with marketing goals.
• Manage video files and organize assets with structured workflows and version control.
• Review edits and refine content based on internal and client feedback before final delivery.
• Stay updated on new editing techniques and platform trends to improve video effectiveness.
• Ensure timely delivery of final assets accounting for review steps.
