High Scale is seeking a Senior Video Editor to craft compelling video content for advertising and brand storytelling, with a focus on campaigns for North American universities. This remote role requires collaborating with designers, copywriters, and strategists to ensure high-quality output across YouTube, social media, and paid media.

You will optimize videos for multiple platforms, manage assets, and stay ahead of industry trends.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional video editing experience, ideally in an agency, media production, or marketing setting.
• Advanced skills in Adobe Premiere Pro; working knowledge of After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
• Experience editing content for ads, marketing, or corporate communications.
• Strong storytelling ability with pacing and audience engagement.
• Familiarity with motion graphics, text animations, transitions.
• Technical knowledge of color grading, sound design, and video formatting for social and broadcast.
• Highly organized with ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Fluent English communication skills for collaboration with US-based teams.
• Experience optimizing video content for multiple platforms (YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, TV).

Responsibilities

• Edit and assemble video content for ads, social media, YouTube, and digital campaigns with strong storytelling and brand consistency.
• Enhance video quality through color correction, sound design, and smooth transitions.
• Integrate motion graphics and simple animations to improve engagement.
• Optimize videos for different platforms with correct aspect ratios, pacing, subtitles, and thumbnails.
• Collaborate with designers, copywriters, and strategists to align visuals with marketing goals.
• Manage video files and assets with structured workflows and version control.
• Review edits and refine content based on internal and client feedback.
• Stay updated on new editing techniques and platform trends to improve effectiveness.
• Ensure timely delivery of final assets accounting for review steps.
