Job summary

Superside is seeking a Senior Video Editor for fully remote collaboration with North American universities. You will edit and optimize video content for ads, storytelling, and digital campaigns, collaborating with designers, strategists, and copywriters to ensure high-quality output across YouTube, social media, and paid media platforms.

You will enhance color, sound, and motion graphics, adapt content for multiple platforms, and ensure timely delivery while staying current with platform trends

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional video editing experience (agency/marketing focus preferred).
• Advanced skills in Premiere Pro; working knowledge of After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
• Experience editing content for ads, marketing, or corporate communications.
• Strong storytelling ability with pacing, engagement, and visual impact.
• Familiarity with motion graphics (text animations, lower thirds, transitions).
• Technical knowledge of color grading, sound design, and video formatting for social media, web, and broadcast.
• Fluent English communication; ability to work with US-based teams.
• Experience optimizing video content for multiple platforms (YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, TV).

Responsibilities

• Edit and assemble video content for ads, social media, YouTube, and digital campaigns with strong storytelling and brand consistency.
• Enhance video quality via color correction, sound design, and smooth transitions.
• Integrate motion graphics and simple animations to boost engagement.
• Optimize videos for different platforms, ensuring proper aspect ratios, pacing, subtitles, and thumbnails.
• Collaborate with designers, copywriters, and strategists to align visuals with marketing goals.
• Manage video files and assets with structured workflows and version control.
• Review edits and refine content based on internal and client feedback before delivery.
• Stay updated on new editing techniques and platform trends to improve effectiveness.
• Ensure timely delivery of final assets accounting for review steps.
