Guernica Argentina is seeking a Senior Video Editor for a fully remote role serving North American universities. You will edit and optimize video content for advertising, branding, and digital campaigns, collaborating with designers, copywriters, and strategists to deliver high-quality videos for YouTube, social media, and paid media campaigns.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in professional video editing, advanced Premiere Pro skills, and experience with After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in professional video editing, preferably in an agency, media production, or marketing team setting.
• Advanced skills in Adobe Premiere Pro, plus working knowledge of After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
• Experience editing content for ads, marketing, or corporate communications.
• Strong storytelling ability with pacing, audience engagement and visual impact.
• Familiarity with motion graphics such as text animations and transitions.
• Technical knowledge of color grading, sound design, and video formatting for various platforms.
• Highly organized with ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Fluent English communication skills, with ability to work with U.S.-based teams.
• Experience optimizing video content for multiple platforms (YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, TV).

Responsibilities

• Edit and assemble video content for ads, social media, YouTube, and digital campaigns, ensuring strong storytelling and brand consistency.
• Enhance video quality through color correction, sound design, and smooth transitions.
• Integrate motion graphics and simple animations to improve engagement.
• Optimize videos for different platforms, ensuring correct aspect ratios, pacing, subtitles, and thumbnails.
• Collaborate with creative teams to align visuals with marketing goals.
• Manage video files and organize assets with structured workflows and version control.
• Review edits and refine content based on internal and client feedback before final delivery.
• Stay updated on new editing techniques and platform trends to improve video effectiveness.
• Ensure timely delivery of final assets, accounting for review steps.
