Job summary

Algaecal Inc. is seeking a Senior Video Editor to work remotely for North American universities. You will edit and optimize video content for ads, brand storytelling, and digital campaigns, collaborating with designers, copywriters, and strategists to ensure high-quality outputs.

Responsibilities include color grading, sound design, motion graphics, and platform-specific optimizations. The role requires 3+ years of agency/marketing experience, fluent English, and strong storytelling abilities.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional video editing experience in agency/media/marketing settings.
• Advanced skills in Adobe Premiere Pro; working knowledge of After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
• Experience editing content for ads, marketing, or corporate communications.
• Strong storytelling ability with pacing, audience engagement, and visual impact.
• Familiarity with motion graphics (text animations, lower thirds, transitions).
• Technical knowledge of color grading and sound design for social media, web, and broadcast.
• Highly organized with ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Fluent English communication skills and ability to work with U.S.-based teams.
• Experience optimizing video content for multiple platforms (YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, TV).

Responsibilities
