Job summary

Algaecal Inc. is seeking a Senior Video Editor for a fully remote role serving North American universities.

You will edit and optimize video content for advertising, brand storytelling, and digital campaigns, collaborating with designers, copywriters, and strategists to ensure top-quality results. You will manage assets, apply color grading and sound design, and tailor outputs for YouTube, social media, and paid media campaigns while staying current with platform trends and delivering on tight

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional video editing experience, preferably in an agency, media production, or marketing team.
• Advanced skills in Adobe Premiere Pro, plus working knowledge of After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
• Experience editing content for ads, marketing, or corporate communications.
• Strong storytelling ability with pacing, audience engagement, and visual impact.
• Familiarity with motion graphics (text animations, lower thirds, transitions).
• Technical knowledge of color grading, sound design, and video formatting for social media, web, and broadcast.
• Highly organized and able to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Fluent English communication skills, with the ability to work with U.S.-based teams.
• Experience optimizing video content for multiple platforms (YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook).

Responsibilities
