Monks is seeking a Senior Video Editor for a 3-month contract to produce top-tier advertising content. You will partner with a global team to translate raw footage into polished edits for TVCs, interactive films, VR, and 360 projects, while collaborating with colorists, VFX artists, and sound designers.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of editing experience, expertise in Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, and a strong portfolio.

Formación

• 5+ years of professional experience as an editor of creative work.
• Create spot-on edits for TVCs, social-first content, and linear work.
• Experience editing nonlinear for interactive films.
• Proficient with Premiere Pro; skilled in After Effects and Photoshop.
• Proficient with AI video tools (Runway, Luma Dream Machine, Sora, Pika, Topaz Video AI).
• Knowledge of AI features in Adobe CC (Text-Based Editing, Generative Fill, AI audio, auto-reframing).
• Familiarity with prompt engineering for asset generation/storyboarding (Gemini, Nano Banana, Veo).
• Ability to do simple animations and transitions.
• Experience with offline edit and online finishing.
• Experience with 360/spatial editing is a plus.
• Strong understanding of the full production/post-production pipeline.
• Knowledge of color grading to prep for client reviews.
• Experience rendering edits for the web and compositing software.
• Well-organized team player who can work independently.
