Ovation Law Firm seeks a Senior Video Editor for a fully remote role serving North American universities. You will edit and optimize video content for ads, brand storytelling, and digital campaigns while collaborating with designers, copywriters, and strategists to ensure high-quality content across YouTube, social media, and paid media campaigns.

The position supports the agency's Latin American expansion and requires shaping video strategies and seamless execution across projects.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional video editing experience, preferably in agencies or marketing teams.
• Advanced skills in Adobe Premiere Pro and working knowledge of After Effects or DaVinci Resolve.
• Experience editing content for ads, marketing, or corporate communications.
• Strong storytelling ability with pacing, audience engagement, and visual impact.
• Familiarity with motion graphics (text animations, lower thirds, transitions).
• Technical knowledge of color grading, sound design, and video formatting for social media and broadcast.
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Fluent English communication skills, with ability to work with U.S.-based teams.
• Experience optimizing video content for multiple platforms (YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook).

Responsibilities

• Edit and assemble video content for ads, social media, YouTube, and digital campaigns, ensuring strong storytelling and brand consistency.
• Enhance video quality through color correction, sound design, and smooth transitions.
• Integrate motion graphics and simple animations (text overlays, transitions, logo animations) to improve engagement.
• Optimize videos for different platforms, ensuring correct aspect ratios, pacing, subtitles, and thumbnails.
• Collaborate with creative teams—designers, copywriters, and strategists—to align visuals with marketing goals.
• Manage video files and organize assets, ensuring structured workflows and version control.
• Review edits and refine content based on internal and client feedback before final delivery.
• Stay updated on new editing techniques and platform trends to continually improve video effectiveness.
• Ensure timely delivery of final assets, accounting for internal and client review steps.
