EPAM Systems Inc. is seeking a Senior UX Designer to translate UX and visual direction into production-ready UI specs and prototypes for Unreal Engine, aligning flows, interaction behavior, and component standards with engineering and UI art to ship across platforms.

You will define UI flows for in-game screens, design a scalable UI component system with states and variants, and collaborate with engineers and artists to ensure feasible, performant designs that can be iterated rapidly.

Formación

• 3+ years of experience in UI/UX design, with shipped products or game UI.
• Expert-level Figma skills including components, variants, auto-layout, and handoff-ready docs.
• Experience producing implementation-ready documentation (layouts, notes, state diagrams, acceptance criteria).
• Knowledge of UMG concepts (layout, anchors, scaling, widget states/animations).
• Strong focus-based navigation with multi-input (controller and keyboard/mouse).
• Responsive UI design across multiple resolutions and aspect ratios.

We are looking for a Senior UX Designer to translate UX and visual direction into production-ready UI specs and prototypes for Unreal Engine. You will align flows, interaction behavior, navigation rules, and component standards with engineering and UI art to ship reliably across platforms and input methods.

Responsibilities

• Define UI flows, user journeys, and interaction models for in-game screens and features; deliver clear, implementation-ready specifications
• Design and maintain a scalable UI component system, including patterns, components, variants, and states that enable consistent implementation
• Document detailed behavior rules for navigation/focus order, back behavior, input handling expectations, error/empty/loading states, and edge cases
• Collaborate daily with client engineers and UI artists to keep designs feasible, performant, and consistent in-engine
• Review implementations to support iteration and polish, provide actionable feedback, and adjust designs based on technical constraints and playtest/QA findings

Requirements

• Proven track record with 3+ years of experience, strong UI/UX fundamentals, and shipped digital products or game UI
• Expert-level proficiency in Figma, including components, variants, auto-layout, reusable libraries, and handoff-ready documentation
• Demonstrated ability to produce implementation-ready documentation such as annotated layouts, interaction notes, state diagrams, and acceptance criteria
• Working knowledge of UMG concepts, including layout, anchors, scaling, and widget states/animations, enabling design decisions grounded in engine constraints
• Deep understanding of focus-based navigation and multi-input requirements, including controller and keyboard/mouse
• Hands-on experience designing responsive UI for multiple resolutions/aspect ratios with safe-area considerations
• English proficiency at B2 (Upper-Intermediate) level or higher

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Unreal UI system/framework conventions such as screen stacks, activatable views, and common navigation patterns
• Experience with localization-aware design, including string expansion, truncation rules, and dynamic layouts
• Knowledge of accessibility/readability considerations such as contrast, font sizing, and couch-distance UI
• Background working on live products with rapid iteration and frequent releases
