Chevron is accepting online applications for the position Senior Tax Analyst through October 31st, 2025 at 11:59 p.m. (Buenos Aires Time).
Responsibilities
- Tax returns preparation/supports the filing of tax returns.
- Tax determination on customers billing.
- Understanding of regulations and business and accounting acumen.
- Supporting internal and external audits.
- ERP/tax applications and databases maintenance.
Main Activities
- Manage most complex account reconciliations. Address corrective measures that may also impact other teams. Prepare fluctuation analysis (P&L, B/S, payments).
- Analysis of accounting data and inventory gains/losses for tax reporting purposes.
- Conduct research for more complicated tax questions and contact tax authorities for clarification as needed.
- Lead communication with business partners on issue/discrepancies resolutions.
- Review Chevron customers’ taxability application based on tax law and business to ensure compliance.
- Leads, coordinates and collaborates on special projects as well as review regulations and procedures.
Required Qualification/Soft Skills
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in accounting, business, finance or tax.
- Combination of +6 years of tax accounting, finance and/or audit experience. Excellent oral/written English skills.
- Fluent in ERP/Tax systems or tax applications. Utilizes knowledge of work group systems to assist on enhancements and development projects. Preferred qualifications in system implementation (SAP).
