Bridgenext is seeking a Senior Software Project Manager to lead strategic technology initiatives in a Tax Tech setting. You will guide distributed teams in Agile delivery, drive AI-assisted planning, and ensure alignment with business objectives while maintaining remote collaboration from Argentina or Colombia.

You will partner with engineers, architects, and product owners, manage budgets and risks, and evolve delivery practices.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience managing software development projects.
• Experience leading technical teams, including direct reports.
• Strong understanding of the SDLC and Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, or hybrid).
• Ability to follow software architecture and technical design discussions.
• Proven experience managing multiple concurrent initiatives from inception through production deployment.
• Experience working with distributed and remote teams.
• Experience using AI tools to improve planning, reporting, documentation, and decision-making.

Position Description

We are looking for a Senior Software Project Manager to lead the delivery of strategic technology initiatives within a complex Tax Technology environment. The ideal candidate combines strong project management skills with a solid understanding of software engineering and modern cloud technologies, and can lead distributed teams in a fast-paced Agile environment. We also expect this person to use AI tools to improve planning, delivery, reporting, and decision-making.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex software development projects
• Manage distributed engineering and delivery teams in a remote-first environment, including direct people management
• Establish project plans, timelines, milestones, risks, and dependencies
• Drive Agile delivery practices and continuous improvement across teams
• Partner with architects, engineers, product owners, and business stakeholders to align solutions with business objectives
• Monitor project health, budget, resource allocation, and delivery metrics
• Identify and proactively mitigate risks and blockers
• Facilitate executive status reporting, steering committee meetings, and stakeholder communications
• Support hiring, coaching, career development, and performance management
• Use AI-powered tools and copilots to improve execution, reporting, risk identification, and documentation, and drive AI adoption across the team

Workplace: This is a remote opportunity open to candidates residing in Argentina or Colombia only

Core Technologies: Microsoft Azure and Azure DevOps. Microsoft 365 and Power Platform. .NET ecosystem. Azure AI Services, Azure OpenAI, and Generative AI applications. API-driven architectures and CI/CD practices.

Must Have Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field

Preferred Skills:

• Experience delivering applications within the Microsoft ecosystem and knowledge of Azure cloud services
• Experience with Azure DevOps and Agile project management tools
• Familiarity with enterprise integrations, APIs, and data platforms
• Understanding of security, compliance, and governance best practices
• Exposure to Generative AI and AI-assisted development
• PMP, PMI-ACP, Scrum Master, or comparable certification
