Job summary

Innovid, a Media Ocean company, is seeking a Sr Software Engineer to join a world-class R&D team. You will design and build solutions for processing massive ad data, guide multiple teams, and ship production-grade features in a fast, automated environment.

You will work across architecture, ingestion, and performance optimization, with impact on campaigns across CTV, digital, and social channels. Strong hands-on leadership is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor in computer science or a related discipline is required.
• 4+ years with demonstrated large-scale system experience (5+ years preferred).
• Experience processing large volumes of data in production systems.
• Solid understanding of load distribution, data storage strategies, and scale.
• Strong analytical, creative, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Understanding of design and production procedures and standards to create prototypes and finished products.
• Experience with large scale performance issues.
• Experience with Snowflake, PostgreSQL, MongoDB – an advantage.
• Experience with dataframes, map-reduce, Spark, Pandas, Polars – an advantage.
• Experience with workflow management tools like Argo/Airflow – an advantage.
• Experience in Python, TypeScript (React and Node.js) – an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement major architecture components for high-throughput applications.
• Lead development of modules for a product handling billions of transactions daily.
• Architect and evolve data ingestion/processing pipelines for large datasets.
• Develop viable solutions across systems and architectures for Innovid business needs.
• Deploy solutions to production in a continuous manner.
• Ensure the well-being of Innovid applications in production.
• Collaborate with R&D managers to define and enforce development standards.
• Oversee the design process for application software.
• Provide technical training and support to R&D developers.
