CommandLink, LLC is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to own the alerting engine for the CommandAlert platform. You will design, implement, and operate high-reliability alerting and correlation components, addressing complex challenges across telemetry, security tooling, and network data.

You will lead end-to-end ownership of critical pipelines, work across multi-cloud environments, and mentor engineers while shaping the product direction and technical architecture.

Formación

• Experience designing, building, or operating high-reliability alerting or notification systems in production.
• Strong Kafka experience, especially producing/consuming event streams for downstream delivery.
• Ability to turn telemetry data into network/topology maps and dependency graphs.
• Proven track record owning large end-to-end components and coordinating with engineers.
• Mastery of Go and/or Python with multi-cloud experience.
• Experience with webhook reliability, idempotency, and delivery guarantees under load.

Responsabilidades

• Design and own components of the alerting engine from evaluation to delivery.
• Ensure reliability of the alerting pipeline including Kafka and downstream callbacks.
• Turn telemetry sources into actionable topology and context for investigations.
• Contribute to generating alert definitions from normalized data models using LLMs.
• Lead production issue resolution and post-mortems for long-term fixes.
• Drive greenfield projects to advance correlation and detection capabilities.
