Innovid is seeking a Sr Software Engineer to join our R&D team, tackling heavy-usage systems that ingest billions of ad impressions daily. You will design, build, test, and deploy solutions in a fast-paced, CI/CD environment while guiding other developers.

You should have 3+ years of large-scale system experience, familiarity with Snowflake, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Python/TypeScript (React/Node.js). We value analytical, proactive thinkers who thrive on complex data challenges.

Formación

• Bachelor in computer science or a related discipline.
• 3+ years with demonstrated large-scale system experience (5+ years preferred).
• Experience processing large volumes of data in production systems.
• Solid understanding of load distribution, data storage strategies, and system architecture at scale.
• Strong analytical, creative, problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
• Experience with Snowflake, PostgreSQL, MongoDB – an advantage.
• Experience with dataframes, map-reduce, Spark, Pandas, Polars – an advantage.
• Experience with workflow management tools like Argo/Airflow – an advantage.
• Experience in Python, TypeScript (React and Node.js) – an advantage.

Responsabilidades

• Design and implement major aspects of the architecture of applications, including infrastructure, backbone services and user interface.
• Lead by example the development of modules for a high-end product that processes over 1 billion transactions a day.
• Architect and evolve systems for high-throughput data ingestion and processing, handling several hundred gigabytes of data daily.
• Design and develop viable solutions for various systems and architectures to different types of Innovid business aspects.
• Deploy your solutions to production in a continuous manner.
• Be responsible for the well-being of Innovid applications in production.
• Work with R&D managers to define, prioritize and finalize development standards.
• Oversee the Design Process for Application Software.
• Provide technical training, support, and training to R&D developers

We're looking for a top-notch, passionate Sr Software Engineer to be part of our world-class R&D team. We're an advertising technology company that ingests roughly 1 billion (1000M) ad impressions per day — around 500GB of data daily — into a processing system that derives performance metrics for our clients. As part of this role, you need to understand and analyze heavy usage applications architecture and their performance including getting a deep understanding of the business workflows behind them. The next step after understanding the challenge's scope is to design, build (hands-on) the suggested solution, test and deploy it to production. All done in a continuous development and deployment environment. Now you will need to guide and help developers across multiple teams adopt your solution. If you think you can handle a wide range of technologies, play and lead an important role in the design and analysis of software projects, create new applications or improve existing ones, evaluate application technologies, develop product prototypes and implement it in different parts of our product.

What You’ll Bring to Us

• Experience with workflow management tools like Argo/Airflow – an advantage
• Experience in Python, TypeScript (React and Node.js) – an advantage
• Experience with web server or client side development – an advantage
• Must have a passion for technology and quality
• Good analytical and communication skills
