Pythian is expanding its Site Reliability Engineering team and seeking skilled technologists who thrive under pressure. You will lead client discussions on technology roadmaps, mentor peers, and design automated, scalable infrastructure solutions from design through implementation.

Responsibilities include incident analysis, automation, and documentation. You will work remotely with global clients, leveraging Python/Scala, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms like Google Cloud and AWS.

Formación

• Experience with Google Cloud and AWS, including IaC deployment tools.
• Scripting and automation with Python and Scala is required.
• Strong knowledge of microservices, containers, and orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker).
• Understanding of software development lifecycles from an infrastructure perspective.
• Experience with IT operations, Linux administration, and cloud migration.
• Familiarity with networking (DNS, NTP, DHCP, SMTP) and virtual infrastructure.

Responsabilidades

• Operate, maintain, and administer client infrastructure to improve reliability and visibility.
• Plan maintenance activities, create design docs, and standard procedures.
• Provide root cause analysis reports for outages and incidents.
• Identify opportunities to improve resiliency and automate repetitive tasks.
• Contribute to team documentation and best practice adoption.
• Audit client environments and document findings to drive improvements.
• Collaborate to continuously improve team culture and knowledge sharing.
• Lead technology discussions with clients and drive roadmaps.
• Participate in on-call rotations as needed.
