Sovos is hiring a Site Reliability Engineer III to optimize the performance and scalability of our SaaS platforms in a remote Argentina-based role. You will shape cloud infrastructure, ensure robust configurations, and collaborate with global teams to deliver reliable tax compliance solutions.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience with SaaS tech, cloud deployments, and CI/CD automation. Proficiency in scripting and IaC, plus strong English communication, are required.

Formación

• You've built solid experience with SaaS technologies, SDLC processes, and cloud infrastructure including application monitoring, data storage, and deployment.
• Proficiency with scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, or Go, and familiarity with versioning tools like Git.
• Hands-on experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery tools such as Azure DevOps, and infrastructure as code tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Puppet.
• Experience with cloud deployment, monitoring, and operations analysis tools such as Grafana or Nagios.
• Comfort with AI-assisted workflows and demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools to enhance system reliability and operational processes.
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal) and a team-oriented mindset with a willingness to share knowledge and ideas. Professional proficiency in English required (able to write technical documentation and communicate clearly with distributed teams); Spanish or Portuguese is a plus.
• Availability to perform occasional off-hour responsibilities and participate in emergency on-call rotation.
• Due to client contractual obligations, the successful candidate will be asked to clear a background check upon hire.

Responsabilidades

• Define and implement processes to maintain software product configurations and infrastructure server configurations across our SaaS environment.
• Maintain applications and tools throughout the software development lifecycle, partnering closely with development teams.
• Work within an agile team to develop software solutions and provide guidance on configuration management best practices.
• Continuously evaluate current configuration management practices and propose improvements that enhance reliability and efficiency.
• Leverage AI-powered tools and automation to improve operational efficiency, accelerate troubleshooting, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
