Qualifications

Electrical engineer degree with 10 years of work in substation and line construction.
Proven High Voltage experience in mining projects.
Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines.

Responsibilities

Assist in coordinating construction-related issues identified on drawings with craftsmen and supervisors.
Provide technical interpretation of design documents for project managers and contractors.
Maintain effective communication between the company and the design engineer to ensure timely delivery of design documents.
Coordinate the project quality program when the quality function is the responsibility of the construction engineering department; report status to project management.
Perform other duties as assigned.
