Job summary

Bechtel Argentina seeks an experienced professional to manage environmental permits and regulatory compliance for mining, energy, and infrastructure projects. You will translate government requirements into engineering criteria and coordinate with design teams to ensure timely, compliant execution.

The role requires 5–10 years in environmental management, Spanish/English proficiency, and strong communication and scheduling skills.

Qualifications

University degree in Environmental Sciences, Chemistry, Civil Engineering, or similar field and professional registration.
5–8 years of professional practice in environmental management and permits in mining, energy or infrastructure.
Good knowledge of environmental impact assessment methods and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

Manage environmental permits for the project, including submission and status tracking.
Coordinate with engineering teams to translate regulatory requirements into design criteria.
Maintain dialogue with authorities and ensure timely responses and compliance.
Prepare and review environmental studies, monitoring plans and permit documentation.
Support project management with regulatory risk mitigation and reporting.
