AgileEngine is seeking a Senior SDET to strengthen quality across web and API layers using Java, REST Assured, and Playwright. This role blends a developer's mindset with a shift-left testing philosophy, embedding automation directly into CI/CD pipelines.

It offers the chance to build testing practices from the ground up in a fast-moving engineering environment. You will build scalable automation frameworks, define automation strategy, and mentor engineers while delivering high-quality software

Formación

• 4+ years of experience as an SDET Engineer.
• Strong programming skills in Java.
• Extensive experience using REST Assured for backend testing.
• Proven hands-on experience with Playwright.
• Deep understanding of the "shift-left" approach and integrating automation into CI/CD pipelines.
• Ability to work independently and provide technical direction on quality initiatives.

Responsabilidades

• Build and maintain scalable automation frameworks for Web and API layers.
• Define automation strategy to ensure high test coverage and reliable releases.
• Create comprehensive API automation suites to ensure microservice integrity.
• Implement and manage frontend automation scripts for top-tier UX.
• Mentor engineers on testing best practices and foster a quality-first culture.
