Maitsys is seeking a Senior SAP Basis Consultant to join remotely from LATAM. The candidate will own the technical backbone of large SAP landscapes, lead migrations to S/4HANA and cloud, and mentor junior Basis administrators.

The role requires 12+ years of hands-on SAP Basis experience, strong architecture and security skills, and the ability to work with distributed teams across time zones. English proficiency is essential; Spanish/Portuguese a plus.

Formación

• 12+ years of hands-on SAP Basis experience across ECC and S/4HANA
• Proven track record leading full-lifecycle SAP implementations and migrations
• Deep knowledge of SAP NetWeaver, kernel/OS administration, and ABAP/Java stacks
• Extensive SAP HANA administration experience (HSR/HA/DR)
• Cloud-hosted SAP experience (AWS/Azure/GCP) and/or RISE with SAP
• Strong transport management, change control, and landscape governance skills
• Proven incident resolution and production support leadership at scale
• Strong English communication; Spanish/Portuguese a plus depending on client base

Responsabilidades

• Own end-to-end SAP landscapes administration, including installation, patching, upgrades, and system copies across ECC, S/4HANA, BW/BI, Solution Manager.
• Lead architecture, sizing, and migrations for new implementations and landscape consolidations.
• Drive S/4HANA conversions/migrations and cloud moves (RISE with SAP, hyperscalers).
• Manage HANA database administration, backups, performance tuning, HA/DR design.
• Oversee transport management (STMS) and landscape governance across dev/QA/prod.
• Lead monitoring, performance tuning, and incident/problem resolution for production systems.
• Mentor junior Basis staff and collaborate with security, infra, and functional teams.
• Plan maintenance windows, upgrades, and EHP implementations with clients.
