Our client, a performance marketing agency focused on higher education, seeks a Senior Video Editor for a fully remote role serving North American universities.

You will edit and optimize video content for ads, brand storytelling, and digital campaigns across YouTube, social, and paid media, collaborating with designers, copywriters, and strategists to ensure high-quality, platform-ready videos.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional video editing experience.
• Advanced skills in Premiere Pro; familiarity with After Effects, Final Cut Pro or DaVinci Resolve.
• Experience editing ads, marketing videos, or corporate communications.
• Strong storytelling with pacing, engagement and visual impact.
• Familiarity with motion graphics (text animations, transitions).
• Technical knowledge of color grading and sound design for social media and web.

Responsibilities

• Edit and assemble video content for ads, social, YouTube, and campaigns.
• Enhance video quality with color, sound design, and transitions.
• Add motion graphics and simple animations to boost engagement.
• Optimize videos for different platforms with correct aspect ratios and thumbnails.
• Collaborate with designers, copywriters, and strategists to align visuals with goals.
• Manage video files and asset organization with version control.
• Review edits and refine content based on feedback.
