Kraken is seeking a React Native engineer to join a cross-functional Consumer pod focused on building and scaling Krak experiences. You will work with Product, Frontend and Backend Engineers to deliver seamless, performant user experiences across our Krak app, ensuring high UX quality and reliability.

You will own features end-to-end, collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, and Rust backend engineers, and contribute to code quality and shared components across the mobile codebase.

Formación

• 3+ years of software development experience shipping large-scale consumer mobile apps using React Native.
• Solid working knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript; APIs, mobile performance, frontend testing, and modern build pipelines.
• Strong product engineering mindset; comfortable working with product and design teams to ship customer value.
• Comfort with real-time systems (WebSockets, live updates) and building responsive, interactive experiences.
• Strong understanding of UI/UX best practices, empathy for the customer, and a passion for high-quality experiences.
• Demonstrated ability to learn and adapt to emerging technologies and development practices.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality mobile applications using React Native and TypeScript, with a strong product focus.
• Own end-to-end delivery of assigned Krak features from design to release and iteration.
• Build screens and components that are maintainable, performant, and resilient, following established patterns.
• Write clean, well-tested code and participate in code reviews per engineering standards.
• Contribute to technical design discussions within your pod with clear proposals and trade-offs.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, and Rust backend engineers to deliver features with measurable value.
• Help improve code quality, shared components, and tooling across the Krak mobile codebase.
