Softgic is seeking an experienced QA Automation Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable test automation solutions across web, mobile, and API platforms. The role focuses on improving test coverage, reliability, and efficiency while integrating automated testing into modern CI/CD workflows.

The candidate should have 5+ years of QA experience, strong automation skills, and hands-on experience with Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, TestNG, or JUnit, plus CI/CD and Agile/K Scrum

Formación

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of Software Quality Assurance experience with a focus on test automation.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, JavaScript, or C#.
• Hands-on experience with Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, TestNG, or JUnit.
• Strong understanding of RESTful API testing, SQL, and test data management.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and Git-based version control.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and reusable test automation frameworks.
• Create and execute automated tests for web, mobile, and APIs.
• Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
• Collaborate with Developers, Product Managers, and QA Engineers to define test strategies and automation coverage.
• Perform code reviews and promote best practices for test automation, maintainability, and quality.
• Analyze automated test results and drive defects to resolution.
• Continuously improve test coverage, execution efficiency, stability, and reliability.
• Mentor junior QA Engineers in automation tools and frameworks.
