Sophilabs in Argentina seeks a Senior QA Automation Tester and Analyst to design and execute test plans, conduct exploratory testing, and contribute to risk-based quality assurance. You will collaborate with Software Engineering and Development teams to ensure robust software.

You should have at least 5 years in testing, hands-on experience with Selenium, SQL databases, and modern web technologies, and fluent English. This is a full-time role with remote work options.

Formación

• 5+ years of experience in Testing
• Working knowledge of Selenium, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Java
• Experience with relational databases like Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or similar
• Fluency in English (C1 or +)
• Full-time availability
• A positive attitude and desire to improve is a must
• Demonstrates attention to detail, customer success focus, problem-solving, planning and organizing skills

Responsabilidades

• At least 5 year of experience in Testing
• Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
• Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases
• Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities
• Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs
• Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
• Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs
• Develops/writes testing scripts and plans to ensure that software functions as expected
• Prepares data sets to test logic, error handling and system workflows
• Work with end-users to broaden their understanding of systems and their requirements
• Liaise with internal teams to identify system requirements
• Monitor debugging process results
• Creating automated test
• Collaborating with developers and project managers
• Investigate the causes of non-conforming software and train users to implement solutions
• Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts
• Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies
