EPAM Systems in Argentina is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer in Mobile to join our Mobile Engineering team. You'll work on developing new products and platforms, building interactive experiences across the customer journey and collaborating with product, design, and development teams.

You will lead test planning, execute functional and automated tests with Espresso and XCUITest, integrate tests into CI, review PRs, and drive 100% regression readiness while expanding reusable automation scripts

Qualifikationen

• 7+ years of technical experience in software testing.
• 3+ years of mobile app automation with Appium or similar.
• Hands-on testing on iOS and Android platforms.
• QE/Functional Testing: integration, regression, exploratory, end-to-end.
• UI automation with Espresso/XCUITest and Java coding.
• Test planning, reporting, and strategy definition.
• Web service/API testing with Postman/HTTP clients.
• Debugging with tools like Charles/Splunk/Sentry.
• Experience with Agile software development.
• English proficiency at Upper-Intermediate level (B2+).

We are seeking a Senior Quality Engineer in Mobile to join our Mobile Engineering team, whose mandate is to develop new products and platforms for our customers. Our aim is to build interactive experiences at all touch points of a consumer's journey — whether before, at, or after the time of purchase.

You’ll be working in a fast-paced environment with the stability of working for a Fortune 100 company, collaborating with a small team of engineers developing mobile products. You should be familiar with modern software development methodologies and be able to dive deep and rapidly iterate on ideas despite ambiguity.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Product, Design, and Development teams to understand product requirements and create a comprehensive test plan and test cases
• Execute functional and automated tests to verify the accuracy, completeness, and reliability of functionality
• Contribute to the development and enhancement of UI automated testing frameworks built on Espresso (Android) and XCUITest (iOS)
• Analyze requirements and determine technical feasibility for Automation
• Integrate automated tests into CI to identify issues during the development cycle
• Participate in PR reviews, submit PRs, and contribute to the goal of 100% regression automation readiness
• Develop and maintain robust, scalable, reusable automated test scripts across applications
• Identify, document, and track defects, working closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution and retesting
• Improve QA delivery and quality through defining test strategy, process improvements, and coordination with multiple backend teams
• Partner with the development team to define and implement mechanisms to inject testing earlier into the software development process via mocking strategy
• Prioritize competing demands, manage multiple concurrent tasks, and adapt to changing priorities
• Perform regression testing to validate new enhancements don't negatively impact existing functionality

Requirements

• 7+ years of technical experience with a bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or other related disciplines
• 3+ years of mobile app automation experience with tools like MonkeyTalk, Selendroid, Appium, or Katalon
• Hands-on testing experience in iOS and Android mobile platforms by leveraging various functional and automated tools
• Expertise in QE/Functional Testing, including Integration, Regression, Exploratory, End-to-End, Compatibility, GUI, and Accessibility testing
• Proficiency in UI automation frameworks such as Espresso and XCUITest, along with strong programming skills in Java
• Skills in test planning and reporting, with the capability to define test strategy and drive process improvements
• Background in Web Service / API Testing using Postman, IntelliJ HTTP Client, or similar tools
• Familiarity with debugging tools like Charles Proxy, Splunk, or Sentry, paired with strong debugging skills
• Experience with full life cycle software deployment using Agile practices
• Excellent communication skills and a strong team player mindset with attention to detail
• Proficiency in English at an Upper-Intermediate level (B2) or higher
