Job summary

AgileEngine is seeking a Software Quality Assurance professional to join the team in a hands-on role focused on building regression automation scripts and manual validation. You will execute various testing types, document outcomes, and collaborate with product and customer teams to ensure quality throughout the SDLC and release cycles.

This position requires strong communication skills and at least three years of experience in QA and automated testing.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a software quality assurance role.
• 3+ years of experience in automated testing.
• Strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Build regression automation scripts that support app functionality.
• Manually test software for validation and accuracy.
• Execute smoke, regression, integration, performance and other testing types to ensure proper behavior of software.
• Record detailed documentation of feature behavior.
• Record pass/fails conditions of tests and correlate failures to bug identification.
• Identify and elevate any risk to quality of the product or the process.
• Collaborate with the product team to ensure quality throughout the SDLC and product release cycles.
• Collaborate with customer-facing teams to incorporate user feedback in the testing strategy.
• Participate in refinement and estimations of effort to promote accurate planning.
• Utilize GitHub to maintain automation repositories, run custom scripts, and facilitate automated quality practices.
• Participate in On-Call rotation.
