Job summary

Avenga is seeking a Senior AQA Engineer to join a long-term project with a leading regional bank in Argentina. The role blends automated testing leadership with occasional manual testing to elevate quality across banking platforms.

You will design and maintain automated test suites using Python, Pytest and Playwright, mentor teammates, and collaborate with developers and BAs to deliver reliable software in a regulated financial domain.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of QA experience focused on test automation.
• Expert in Python, Pytest, Playwright, and Git.
• Experience designing and maintaining automated test frameworks.
• Strong test planning, execution, and defect management.
• Spanish native level and English intermediate.
• Banking domain knowledge, Bantotal experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test cases and frameworks.
• Perform functional and manual testing when needed.
• Analyze results and investigate failures to identify root causes.
• Improve test coverage for banking platforms.
