Job summary

BairesDev is seeking an experienced QA Automation Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable test automation across web, mobile, and API platforms. You will focus on improving coverage, reliability, and efficiency while integrating automated testing into modern CI/CD workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of Software Quality Assurance experience with a focus on test automation.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, JavaScript, or C# for test scripting.
• Hands-on experience with automation tools/frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, TestNG, or JUnit.
• Strong understanding of RESTful API testing, SQL, and test data management.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and Git-based version control.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and reusable test automation frameworks.
• Create and execute automated tests for web, mobile, and API platforms.
• Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
• Collaborate with Developers, Product Managers, and QA Engineers to define test strategies and automation coverage.
• Perform code reviews and promote best practices for test automation, maintainability, and quality.
• Analyze automated test results and drive defects to resolution with cross-functional teams.
• Continuously improve test coverage, execution efficiency, stability, and reliability.
• Mentor junior QA Engineers in automation tools, frameworks, and best practices.
