Job summary

EPAM Systems seeks a Senior Python Tech Lead to guide architectural direction, mentor engineers, and deliver scalable software with strong quality standards. You will drive operational excellence, improve processes, and ensure timely delivery on international projects.

You will lead teams, oversee testing, and collaborate with cross-functional peers to minimize technical debt and maximize business value. Fluency in English required and cloud/Docker experience highly valued.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software development experience (Python).
• Expertise in Python frameworks: Django, Flask, FastAPI.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines and tools.
• Hands-on Docker/containerization experience.
• Strong unit testing and test-driven development.
• Databases knowledge (SQL and NoSQL).
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
• English level: B2.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and guidance across development teams.
• Lead debugging efforts for production and development issues.
• Ensure delivery of high-quality software with business value.
• Model best practices and drive a culture of learning and improvement.
