EPAM Systems is seeking a Senior Python Engineer with strong backend development skills and a solid grasp of cloud-native solutions. You will design, build and maintain scalable backend services using Python and modern cloud platforms.

Work includes building REST APIs, architectures for microservices, and collaborating with DevOps, QA and product teams to ensure secure, reliable and performant systems across environments.

Formación

• Solid experience in Python backend development.
• Familiarity with frameworks like FastAPI, Flask or Django.
• Practical experience using AWS, Azure or GCP.
• Proven background building REST APIs and microservices.
• Sound knowledge of relational and/or NoSQL databases.
• Exposure to CI/CD, testing and modern software engineering practices.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

We are seeking a Senior Python Engineer who brings strong backend development expertise along with a solid grasp of cloud-native solutions. The right candidate will be capable of designing, building and maintaining scalable backend services through Python and modern cloud platforms.

Responsibilities

• Build backend services and APIs with Python
• Architect scalable cloud-based solutions and microservices
• Handle databases, queues, cloud services and integrations
• Partner with DevOps, QA, product and engineering teams
• Take part in architecture discussions and technical decision-making
• Maintain code quality, security, performance and reliability
• Assist with deployment, monitoring and troubleshooting of production systems

Requirements

Nice to have

• Working knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes
• Background in serverless architectures
• Familiarity with data pipelines or event-driven architectures
