AgileEngine is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer focused on database optimization and scalable software development. In this role, you'll lead initiatives to enhance database performance and build robust backend systems capable of handling high data volumes, especially for revenue-driving features.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years of Python experience, strong SQL and Snowflake knowledge, and hands-on dbt usage.

Formación

• 4+ years of Python experience.
• Hands-on experience with Streamlit for Snowflake.
• Strong SQL knowledge and Snowflake experience.
• Experience with dbt for data transformation.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the design and optimization of databases to improve performance, scalability, and efficiency, with a strong focus on query optimization, indexing strategies, and data architecture best practices.
• Build and maintain efficient, scalable back-end systems to handle high data volumes, prioritizing the optimization of revenue-driving features.
• Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications with an emphasis on performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Write clean, modular code following Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles, with proficiency in Python.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to translate high-level concepts into actionable, effective software solutions.
• Design and implement event-driven processes to improve data flow, responsiveness, and scalability across systems.
