AgileEngine, Inc. seeks a Senior Backend Engineer in Argentina focused on database optimization and scalable software development. You will lead initiatives to enhance data performance and build robust backend systems capable of handling high data volumes, including revenue-driving features.

You will write clean, modular Python code and collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate concepts into effective software solutions, with emphasis on data workflows and event-driven processes.

Formación

• 4+ years of Python experience required.
• Hands-on experience with Streamlit for Snowflake.
• Strong SQL skills and Snowflake knowledge; dbt experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the design and optimization of databases to improve performance, scalability, and efficiency.
• Build and maintain scalable back-end systems to handle high data volumes and revenue-driving features.
• Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications with focus on performance and reliability.
• Write clean, modular code following OOP principles, with Python as primary language.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate high-level concepts into actionable software solutions.
• Design and implement event-driven processes to improve data flow and scalability.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a skilled Senior Backend Engineer with a focus on database optimization and scalable software development. In this role, you'll lead initiatives to enhance database performance and develop robust backend systems capable of handling high data volumes, particularlyfor revenue-driving features.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• -Data Optimization and Database Performance: Lead the design and optimization of databases to improve performance, scalability, and efficiency, with a strong focus on query optimization, indexing strategies, and data architecture best practices;
• - Back-End Data Processing: Build and maintain efficient, scalable back-end systems to handle high data volumes, prioritizing the optimization of revenue-driving features;
• - Software Development: Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications with an emphasis on performance, reliability, and scalability;
• - OOP and Clean Code: Write clean, modular code following Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles, with proficiency in Python;
• - Collaborative Problem Solving: Work closely with cross-functional teams to translate high-level concepts into actionable, effective software solutions;
• - Event-Driven Processes: Design and implement event-driven processes to improve data flow, responsiveness, and scalability across systems.

MUST HAVES

• -4+ years of experience with Python;
• - Hands-on experience building tools using Streamlit for Snowflake;
• - Strong knowledge of SQL and experience working with Snowflake;
• - Experience with dbt (data build tool) for data transformation and modeling;

NICE TO HAVES

• -Background in data analytics;
• - Exposure to or hands-on experience with AI/ML frameworks or integrations.
