AgileEngine is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer focused on database optimization and scalable software development. You will lead initiatives to enhance database performance, build robust back-end systems, and ensure high data volume handling.

The role emphasizes Python development, OOP, and clean coding practices with collaboration across teams and event-driven data processes for scalable solutions.

Qualifications

4+ years of Python experience.
Hands-on experience building tools with Streamlit for Snowflake.
Strong SQL knowledge and experience with Snowflake.
Experience with dbt for data transformation and modeling.

Responsibilities

Lead database design, query optimization, and data architecture to improve performance and scalability.
Build and maintain scalable back-end systems handling high data volumes, focusing on revenue-driving features.
Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications with emphasis on performance and reliability.
Write clean, modular Python code following OOP principles.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate concepts into effective software solutions.
Design and implement event-driven processes to improve data flow and system responsiveness.
