Hitachi Energy in Buenos Aires, Argentina, seeks a Senior Proposal Engineer to craft technically sound proposals for complex projects, collaborating with sales, engineering, and R&D to win new business opportunities.

You will lead RFP analyses, cost estimates, technical descriptions, schedules, and client presentations, while negotiating terms and driving process improvements in a fast-paced, multinational environment.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, or related).
• 5+ years in proposal generation, technical sales, or project engineering in energy/infrastructure/manufacturing.
• Proven track record of securing complex engineering projects through proposals.
• Strong English and Spanish writing and speaking skills; ability to convey complex concepts clearly.

Responsabilidades

• Lead preparation of technical and commercial proposals aligned with client requirements and company capabilities.
• Analyze RFPs/ITBs and client docs to identify key specs and terms.
• Develop innovative technical solutions with engineering and R&D teams.
• Estimate costs, define scope, articulate value propositions for Hitachi's offerings.
• Prepare detailed technical descriptions, schedules, and resource plans for proposals.
• Conduct technical presentations and demonstrations to clients.
• Negotiate technical and commercial aspects of proposals with clients.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of proposal processes and tools.
• Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and new technologies.
