American Contracting & Environmental Services (ACE) is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to support complex water and wastewater facility construction projects. You will work with project managers, superintendents, subcontractors and field teams to manage planning, scheduling, procurement and cost tracking.

You will mentor junior engineers and co-ops, ensure safety and quality, and help deliver projects on time and within contract requirements.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or related field.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Project Engineer or Construction Engineer
• Experience with wastewater treatment plant or utility infrastructure projects
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills

Responsabilidades

• Provide engineering support for day-to-day construction activities on assigned projects
• Manage daily operations for multiple construction projects while supporting schedule, budget, and quality goals
• Review contract plans, specifications, technical submittals, and shop drawings
• Interpret engineering drawings and assist with work package planning and execution
• Perform quality control checks on submittals, materials, and project documentation
• Track project costs, budgets, and resource allocation to support project performance
• Coordinate with project teams, subcontractors, vendors, and stakeholders to support project delivery
• Assist with procurement activities and subcontractor coordination
• Identify field issues and help develop practical construction solutions
• Generate and submit daily reports tracking project progress and milestones
• Attend project meetings and support communication between field and office teams
• Supervise and mentor Project Engineers and Co-Ops
• Support project scheduling updates and reporting efforts
