AgileEngine is seeking a Senior Product Owner to own the strategic vision and backlog for internal security tools and developer portals. You will prioritize epics, reduce systemic risk, and drive adoption of policy and tooling changes with a strong AppSec/DevSecOps background.

The role requires full autonomy in driving product strategy from inception to adoption, with a data-driven, cross-functional leadership approach. Flexible work arrangements include remote and on-site options.

Qualifications

• Experience in vulnerability management lifecycles, AppSec, cloud security/architecture, or development enablement.

• Define and prioritize user stories and epics for Workstreams 1-5, ensuring efforts reduce systemic risk.
• Drive the adoption framework for Architecture Champions, focusing on policy modernization and content uplift.
• Ensure solutions like ASPM ingestion and AI-SDLC scanning reduce developer friction and improve the internal user journey.
• Bridge the gap between executive security mandates and Agile execution pods.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a Senior Product Owner to own the strategic vision and backlog for internal security tools and developer portals. This person prioritizes epics that reduce systemic risk, drives adoption of policy and tooling changes, and ensures new solutions cut developer friction. Strong AppSec or DevSecOps background and cross-functional autonomy are essential.

MUST HAVES

- 5+ years in Technical Product Management or as a Product Owner , ideally building internal developer platforms, security tooling, or DevSecOps products.

- Experience in vulnerability management lifecycles, AppSec, Cloud Security/Architecture, and/or Development Enablement.

- Fully autonomous in driving product strategy from inception to adoption.

- Excels at data-driven decision-making and cross-functional leadership without requiring day-to-day direction.

NICE TO HAVES

- Prior experience acting as a Product Owner for dedicated infrastructure or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) teams.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
