Job summary

AgileEngine is seeking a Senior Product Owner to own the strategic vision and backlog for internal security tools and developer portals. You will prioritize epics that reduce systemic risk and drive adoption of policy and tooling changes, with a strong AppSec or DevSecOps background and cross-functional autonomy.

Define and drive the roadmap, ensuring new solutions cut developer friction and align with executive security mandates, while leading agile pods and collaborating with diverse teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Technical Product Management or as a Product Owner focusing on internal platforms or security tooling.
• Experience in vulnerability management lifecycle, AppSec or Cloud Security/Architecture.
• Autonomous in driving product strategy from inception to adoption.

Responsibilities

• Define and prioritize user stories and epics for Workstreams 1-5 to reduce systemic risk.
• Drive the adoption framework for Architecture Champions, focusing on policy modernization.
• Ensure ASPM ingestion and AI‑SDLC scanning reduce developer friction and improve the user journey.
• Bridge executive security mandates with Agile execution pods.

ABOUT THE ROLE

This person prioritizes epics that reduce systemic risk, drives adoption of policy and tooling changes, and ensures new solutions cut developer friction. Strong AppSec or DevSecOps background and cross‑functional autonomy are essential.

MUST HAVES

• 5+ years in Technical Product Management or as a Product Owner, ideally building internal developer platforms, security tooling, or DevSecOps products.
• Experience in vulnerability management lifecycles, AppSec, Cloud Security/Architecture, and/or Development Enablement.
• Fully autonomous in driving product strategy from inception to adoption.
• Excels at data‑driven decision‑making and cross‑functional leadership without requiring day‑to‑day direction.

NICE TO HAVES

• Prior experience acting as a Product Owner for dedicated infrastructure or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) teams.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Define and prioritize user stories and epics for Workstreams 1-5, ensuring engineering efforts directly reduce systemic risk.
• Drive the adoption framework for Business Unit Architecture Champions, focusing on policy modernization and content uplift.
