Job summary

Kraken, via Payward Services, is seeking a Product Manager to shape the future of its Payments platform. You will own the end-to-end vision for the backend and integration surfaces used by internal clients, collaborating with engineering to deliver a scalable, multi-tenant solution.

You will drive requirements across internal teams, prioritize diverse needs, and ensure the platform supports a wide range of PSPs, banks, and local rails while maintaining strict compliance and performance standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of product management experience in a platform, API or infrastructure context.
• Working knowledge of payments: pay-ins/payouts, PSPs and bank rails, and how money moves.
• Strong technical fluency; read RFCs and write API specs that engineers respect.
• Experience shipping developer-facing products such as APIs, SDKs, or embeddable UI components.
• Clear, structured writing that translates complex designs for multiple stakeholders.
• Experience managing many stakeholders and building alignment without direct authority.
• Comfort using data to set goals and measure platform adoption and performance.

Responsibilities

• Own the product vision and roadmap for the Payments platform, including backend and integration surfaces.
• Map requirements across internal clients and evolve the platform to support more use cases.
• Collaborate with engineering to create a sequenced, high-impact roadmap with clear milestones.
• Prioritize competing client needs with transparent trade-offs and rationale.
• Shape the client experience end-to-end from initial talks to go-live.
• Coordinate with banking and partnerships teams so each PSP/bank integration is platform-wide.
• Incorporate compliance, risk, and legal requirements early in roadmap planning.
• Define and track platform success metrics like time-to-launch and rails coverage.
