Avenga in Argentina seeks a Middle-Strong Node.js Engineer to own backend evolution into a resilient, low-latency multi-region AWS environment. You will work with Web, Mobile, and Product teams in an Agile/Scrum setup to solve architectural challenges and build scalable cloud solutions.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of backend experience with Node.js/TypeScript, strong AWS/Kubernetes expertise, and fluent Spanish with intermediate English.

Formación

• 5+ years backend development experience with Node.js and TypeScript.
• Cloud-native, high-availability, multi-region solutions on AWS (EKS/Kubernetes).
• Event-driven architecture with Apache Kafka.
• Relational databases MySQL and/or PostgreSQL; clean architecture and design patterns.
• Strong communication and collaboration with Web, Mobile, Product teams.
• Native Spanish and intermediate English.

Responsabilidades

• Lead migration and deployment of backend systems into a highly available, multi-region AWS environment.
• Design and evolve scalable Event-Driven Architecture using Kafka.
• Build and maintain reliable backend services with Node.js and TypeScript.
• Ensure code quality, scalability, and maintainability via Clean Architecture and best practices.
• Collaborate with Web, Mobile, and Product teams to deliver technical solutions.
• Contribute to architecture decisions, code reviews, planning, and production releases.
• Identify risks and drive improvements in performance, resilience, and reliability.
